أفضل طريقة للإجابة على سؤال “عرفنا بنفسك”
Almost every interview starts with the same question:
“Tell me about yourself.”
تقريبًا كل إنترفيو بيبدأ بنفس السؤال:
"عرفنا بنفسك."
It sounds simple.
But it’s one of the most important questions in the entire interview.
السؤال شكله بسيط،
لكن هو من أهم الأسئلة في المقابلة كلها.
Your answer sets the tone.
إجابتك بتحدد الانطباع الأول.
If you answer randomly, talk too long, or go off-topic, you lose impact immediately.

Step 1: Present – What You Do Now
الخطوة الأولى: الحاضر – بتعمل إيه دلوقتي؟
Start with your current role or most recent experience.
ابدأ بوظيفتك الحالية أو آخر خبرة ليك.
Answer in 1–2 sentences.
جاوب في جملة أو جملتين بس.
Example:
“I’m currently working as a Digital Marketing Specialist with 3 years of experience in managing performance campaigns and social media strategy.”
مثال:
"أنا حاليًا شغال Digital Marketing Specialist وعندي 3 سنين خبرة في إدارة الحملات الإعلانية والسوشيال ميديا."
Keep it relevant to the job you’re applying for.
خلي كلامك مرتبط بالوظيفة اللي مقدم عليها.
Avoid saying:
“I just graduated and I’m looking for a job.”
ما تقولش:
"أنا لسه متخرج وبدور على شغل."
Instead, say:
“I recently graduated in Business Administration, where I focused on marketing and data analysis.”
بدلها بقول:
"أنا خريج إدارة أعمال وكنت مركز على التسويق وتحليل البيانات."
Always sound professional.
Step 2: Past – How You Got Here
الخطوة التانية: الماضي – وصلت لهنا إزاي؟
Briefly explain your background and key achievements.
اشرح باختصار خلفيتك وأهم إنجازاتك.
Focus on growth.
ركز على التطور.
Example:
“I started my career in sales, which helped me understand customer behavior and communication. Later, I transitioned into marketing where I improved campaign performance by 25%.”
مثال:
"بدأت شغلي في المبيعات وده ساعدني أفهم سلوك العملاء، وبعدها انتقلت للتسويق ونجحت أزود أداء الحملات بنسبة 25%."
Mention results whenever possible.
دايمًا حاول تضيف أرقام ونتائج.
Numbers make your answer stronger.
الأرقام بتخلي كلامك أقوى وأكتر إقناعًا.
Step 3: Future – Why This Role
الخطوة التالتة: المستقبل – ليه الوظيفة دي؟
This is the most powerful part.
دي أهم نقطة في الإجابة.
You connect your experience to the role.
بتربط خبرتك بالفرصة الحالية.
Example:
“I’m now looking for an opportunity where I can apply my digital strategy skills in a growing company like yours and contribute to measurable results.”
مثال:
"دلوقتي بدور على فرصة أستخدم فيها خبرتي في الاستراتيجيات الرقمية في شركة بتتطور زي شركتكم وأساهم في تحقيق نتائج واضحة."
This shows direction.
ده بيوضح إن عندك رؤية.
It shows intention.
وبيبين إنك مش بتقدم بشكل عشوائي.
Employers want candidates who know what they want.
الشركات بتحب الناس اللي عارفة هي عايزة إيه.
How Long Should Your Answer Be?
إجابتك تكون قد إيه؟
60–90 seconds maximum.
من دقيقة لدقيقة ونص بالكتير.
If it’s longer, you lose attention.
لو أطول من كده، هتفقد تركيز اللي قدامك.
If it’s shorter than 30 seconds, it may sound weak.
لو أقل من 30 ثانية، ممكن تبان ضعيفة.
Practice it until it feels natural — not memorized.
اتدرب عليها لحد ما تبقى طبيعية مش محفوظة حرفيًا.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
